Service Description
PostBooks is a web application that converts payroll CSV and PDF reports into balanced journal entries for accounting software. The service includes file upload, payroll data parsing, account mapping, journal entry generation, and export in multiple formats (CSV, IIF, QBO).
Accounts
You must create an account to use PostBooks. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials. You must provide accurate information when creating your account. Each person or entity should maintain only one account.
Acceptable Use
You agree to use PostBooks only for its intended purpose of converting payroll reports into journal entries. You may not use the service to upload malicious files, attempt to gain unauthorized access to other accounts or systems, or use the service in any way that violates applicable laws or regulations.
Your Data
You retain ownership of all data you upload to PostBooks, including payroll files, account mappings, and journal entries. You are responsible for the accuracy and legality of the data you upload. You grant PostBooks a limited license to process your data solely for the purpose of providing the service.
Limitation of Liability
PostBooks is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind. We do not guarantee that the service will be uninterrupted or error-free. You are responsible for verifying the accuracy of all journal entries before importing them into your accounting software. PostBooks is not liable for any accounting errors, financial losses, or damages resulting from the use of generated journal entries.
Termination
You may delete your account at any time, which will permanently remove all your data. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms or engage in abusive behavior. Upon termination, your access to the service and all associated data will be removed.
